''The Beginning of the Enz'' is a 1979 release from New Zealand rock group Split Enz. The album is a collection of songs from the early days of the band. Several of these songs, such as ''129'', ''Lovey Dovey'' and ''Spellbound'' were later re-recorded and included on albums such as Mental Notes and Second Thoughts. The album did not chart in Australia but reached #35 in New Zealand. An unrelated compilation album, ''Beginning of the Enz'' (dropping "The" from the title), was released in England in 1980 by Chrysalis Records and mainly included tracks from 1976's ''Second Thoughts'' and 1977's ''Dizrythmia''. It also included the first album appearance of the 1977 non-album single "Another Great Divide". ==Tracklisting== *All songs by Phil Judd and Tim Finn, except track 7 by Phil Judd. # "Split Ends" – For You Single, recorded 1973 – 1:49 # "For You" – For You Single, recorded 1973 – 3:50 # "129" – Sweet Talkin' Spoon Song Single, recorded 1973, re-recorded as 'Matinee Idyll (129)' on Second Thoughts (1976) – 2:49 # "Home Sweet Home" – No Bother To Me Single (released 1975), recorded 1973 – 3:43 # "Sweet Talkin' Spoon Song" – Sweet Talkin' Spoon Song Single, recorded 1973 – 3:24 # "No Bother to Me" – No Bother To Me Single (released 1975), recorded 1974 – 3:11 # "Malmsbury Villa" – recorded 1974 – 2:49 # "Lovey Dovey" – recorded 1974, re-recorded on Second Thoughts (1976) – 3:23 # "Spellbound" – recorded 1974 with Tim Finn on vocals, re-recorded on Mental Notes (1975) with Phil Judd singing lead – 4:35 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「The Beginning of the Enz」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
